Hello! Trish from Spotties suggsted I put this on this forum, so here goes................ I am looking for an appaloosa filly/mare on breeding loan. Preferably a BApS Grade B/C or the equivalent...no tb or arab outcrosses in three generations. Must have excellent temperament and be around the 15hh mark. Slightly taller or shorter ok, but am not looking for anything that will be over 16hh or throw over 16hh - will be going to a 14.3hh stallion that is fully registered. Colour/markings are unimportant, solids would be considered.

Age is unimportant as we have stables and field shelters for those that prefer to live out. I will look at an experienced broodmare who may like a 'busmans holiday' or I would be equally happy to take on a 3yr old with a view to backing and riding away on behalf of owner and returning to owner once foal is weaned, or selling on owners behalf if desired. I show riding ponies and M&M so would be prepared to do some showing if necessary. I will meet costs of stud fees and keep mare in return for owndership of foal at weaning - regardless of sex. Arrangements would be fully agreed in writing prior to filly/mare going off to stud. I would cover all costs of keeping on my place, including insurance.

I can offer an experienced home 20+ years of breeding/training/competing with excellent facilities in Wiltshire. We have riding ponies and welsh section b's. We lost our established stud two years ago due to a marriage break up and have purchased some land with stables etc now so i haven't the funds to purchase mares for breeding too but am itching to get started. Any thoughts welcome.
