Echo (Nobby's baby sis)'s four year old has just been bought by Geoff Billington!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He is a BIG chestnut blanket spot by a 'Cruising' stallion. I have it on pretty good authority that he plans to jump him himself (I had visions of him selling him on!)
Also her 2 yr old bay blanket spot by 'Fleetwater Opposition' is with a top event rider up here - and he wants to buy him!!!!!!!! I won't say who he is in case I jinx the deal! Will tell all later!
I am soooooo proud her. She consistently produces big, beautiful, straight foals - must be a family trait. She is currently in foal to the St. Leger winner 'Silver Patriarch', so that's quite exciting too.
All boasted out now

Oh WOW!!Sarah.....
That's really exciting news to read and I will most certainly be watching all the spaces for further reading and updates.
Doesn't something like this making breeding these lovely animals all the more worthwhile.
Really proud of you and your lovely mare (and her offspring)

Thanks Paula. Really looking forward to seeing them both out competing. Am trying not to get my hopes of olympic glory up too much, but it would be super to see some 'spotty bums' out and about at the higher levels. I was considering retiring Echo after the next one, but I think we might just go on for another couple of years. She's pretty unimpressed by it all - but enjoying all the polos being shoved her way!!!!

Echo was just born to have nice foals. She loves motherhood.
Go for it I say!
Look at me with my beautiful Boogie. Fit, healthy and born to be a mum...she's in foal for a spring baby at 21 so there's hope for your Echo......... !!!

Thanks all, and thanks paula for giving Richard Neale my email so he could send me his SUPER pics of Finley and Geoff in action. He looks so grown up, and like a proper competition horse.Could you post them on here Paula - I don't have a clue how to!
