I'm getting a bit on edge now.
Everyone I know seems to be having colts born. I've only heard of 2 fillies so far in my circles.
Just wonder if it's anything to do with last year. That was a strange year for me, hence later expected foals for me this time. I had a mare that wouldn't come into any sort of foaling heat after foaling in April. She missed 2 full seasons completely then came into a long and strong season, stood to be covered and is now due in June.
Anyone else noticed?
I was so lucky last year too. Text book foalings with 3 fillies and one colt.
You watch, it will reverse itself this year just to balance!

Don't say that! Tempting Fate!

I do admit there were a lot of fillies around last year - every foal I know of that was born to Faust last year was a filly - is that a record?!

However, Lou is not in foal to him this year, so....

STILL praying for my black blanket filly

Tan !
I've tried everything to guess what's going to arrive but at the end of the day it is guesswork. Sometimes it's right and sometimes it's not.
I've long since given up. Part of the fun of breeding, waiting, biting fingernails and wondering
