Took photos yesterday of this years foal. Out of Zhensuk Sweetsoux (cheiftain's sister) by Catherston Dance In the Dark (Dutch Courage). She is solid chestnut but with characteristics!

She's very pretty. Is she a keeper?..and if she has characteristics she may well colour out.
I did wonder if your mare may be homozygous, seeing the foals to other stallions. Have there been any other solids out of her that have stayed solid?
Have put Echo on as your avatar too !

Hi Paula,
Yes she is Echo's replacement. Echo has only ever produced 2 fillies and I didn't seem to 'gel' with the first, but this one is as laid back as her mum. (The first filly (by tyshion) has just produced a blanket filly, so echo is a granny!) I think this one will def colour out. Echo did have a QH colt who stayed solid chestnut, but that was the only one.
